[review] Baby Compact Powder

Product: Pigeon Baby Compact Powder

I've been using this product to touch-up my face at any time of the day. Even though it is said to be a baby's compact powder.

I use it with or without makeup just to blot out oil.

It its also compatible to an adult's face since it is just talcum, coloured talcum.
It comes in a range of colour/tone from: beige, pink, white etc.

I used: the colour Pink.

The product is sheer, just like any other compact powder, not cakey nor oily in finish.
Hence, i find it perfect to be used as a touch up, it does not really spoil/discolour your foundation/base makeup.

If you were to dab the product on your face, it will effectively remove the excess oil on your face. And also 'lighten' your makeup, since some makeup actually oxidises with time on your face.

The downsides: like any compact powder, it is prone to crack and bit of it will fall off should you drop your compact powder often.
I don't drop it much but it still suffers from cracks, my take is that, the powder cracked because i put it in the front pouch of my bag thus getting hit often has loosen up the 'compactness' of the product.

Where to find the product: i bought my baby compact powder in Kiddy Palace. I think it can also be found in any drug store or supermarket in the baby products section.

Affordability: very afforable! i bought it for less than $10

Value for money: definitely, a compact can last me for months.

Smart Casual

This look was meant to be smart casual. Look formal but not so rigid, we want that relaxed look to it still.
Basically you could pair up an oversized blazer or a normal sized blazer with jeans or chinos.

Then you can accessorize it with long necklaces, because the middle part(inner top part) might look plain.
For your wrist, i wore chunky elastic bracelet, because bangles would accentuate my disproportionate wrist.
You could use bangles if it suits you, any colour would be fine.
Monochrome would make the whole look more formal, while bright popping colour would make the whole look more relaxed.

Shoes, i complete the look with an eye-catching colour shoes, because i like attention.
Since the rest of my outfit does not shines off bright colours, having bright shoes balances the look out well.

i used;

head: light blue tudung
top: oversized blazer (dark blue)
inner top: white singlet (white)
bottom: jeans (dark blue)
shoes: orange mary janes.
accessories: chunky bracelet & long owl necklace

smart casual basic wear;

top: blazer or men's coat
inner top: fitting tee or singlet
bottom: jeans or chino's or lady's pants
